Open Gym

Open gym schedules are available on this website (click on the link) or from Coach Malchow.  These open gyms are open to all "Future Warriors"--which includes middle school/elementary players.  We encourage our players to attend our WHS Girls Basketball Camp on June 1-3 (Mon-Wed).  This is open for players in Grades 4-12 (Fall 2009).  Please click on the link for a brochure.  Players in grades 9-12 (Fall 2009) have the option of going to team camps as well--see Coach Malchow at open gym for a team camp registration form.  These are all opportunities for you to get better as a basketball player--take advantage of them and let's get going!!  Remember, players are made in the off-season.  If you have any questions about our off-season work, feel free to contact Coach Malchow.

The Warriors concluded a memorable 2008-2009 season at all levels.  The varsity team went 22-3 and claimed the 2009 State AA Consolation Championship.  The varsity team was the Greater Dakota Conference Champions (first outright GDC Girls Basketball Championship ever at WHS) and also the District 2 Champions.  Our Junior Varsity team went 13-1, our Sophomore team went 18-2 (City Champs), our Freshman A team was 13-5, and our Freshman B team was 8-6.  Our total record as a program was 74-17!!  We are proud of our kids and their accomplishments.  All 11 of our seniors were named Academic All-State and GDC Scholar Athletes.  Way to go Warriors!
